Hi there. No he's not a toy. This anolis is from the iguana family (no lezard) which taxonomic name is "Anolis garmani". The anoles are represented by number of sub-species. There are some pics of other subspecies like "Anolis equestris" or the endemic carabbean "Anolis roquet".
Definitely no toy! They are in fact very smart and clever creature.
